TEDGlobe.com shows the aggregate reaction of the global live-stream audience, fans, and attendees to this year's TED conference and related events. It's a snapshot of how "The World" is responding to the conference's activity.
TEDGlobe was made using Google's open source WebGL data visualization toolkit in combination with metaLayer's platform for data collection and sentiment analysis with Twitter as the primary source of content. The lines are positioned based on the origin of the message sender while the height of the line represents a combination of the popularity (number of messages) and the sentiment (mood or reaction).
